NCERT Class 2 Hindi Chapter 8 Teen Dost is a colourful short story describing the friendship of three colours.
The story is about three primary colours, Red, Yellow and Blue, who are looking for new friends. The chapter also tells how these colours make our surrounding colourful.
Further, we learn how two colours combine to form new colours. Like Red and yellow gives Orange, Yellow and Blue gives Green and Red and Blue gives Violet.
This story tells us that friendship is a beautiful thing. Friends give us happiness, support and love. They teach us new ways of looking at the world.

उत्तर. इस कहानी में तीन रंग हैं लाल, पीला और नीला। ये तीन रंग पक्के दोस्त थे।
(ख) दोस्तों की क्या चाह थी?
उत्तर. सारे दोस्त मिलकर दुनिया को दोस्ताना और रंगीन बनाना।

उत्तर. क्योंकि वे एक-दूसरे के बिना अधूरे थे।
(घ) लाल, पीला और नीला किसमें पाए जाते हैं?
उत्तर. लाल रंग टमाटर, सेब और चेरी में पाया जाता है। धूप, केला तथा नींबू में पीला रंग पाया जाता है। नीला रंग आकाश, जल तथा आँखों में पाया जाता है।
